A changing life experience

Rilene Goelzer, another successful graduate of our master's program tells us about her experience and shares with us what she is currently doing:

"The master's degree from EU4M changed my life and my perspective on the world. It offered the unique opportunity to learn engineering, while meeting other cultures and countries. I did my first two semesters in Germany and my third one in Spain. Taking classes in the local languages was not easy, but the staff was always ready to help and the professors were very understanding with any language mistake. After all, language is never a barrier if we are willing to learn and communicate.

Completing this master's degree in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, was very rewarding. The content I learned during the master's was very comprehensive, which allowed me to choose the area I would like to work in.

After my graduation, I stayed in Germany and now I work with data analysis, image processing and machine learning in the adaptive optics sector.

Being part of an Erasmus Mundus was very rewarding and I recommend this experience to everyone."
